 iversidad de Chile\nThe process of disk evolution and planet formation wil
 l leave an imprint on the distribution of solid particles at different loc
 ations in a protoplanetary disk\, resulting in&nbsp\;a variety of substruc
 ture over large and small scales. The focus of recent ALMA observations at
  high angular resolution has been to characterize the underlying&nbsp\;sub
 structure of these disks\, from dust continuum and gas tracer images with 
 spatial resolution of a few to tens of astronomical units. In this colloqu
 ium\, I will discuss&nbsp\;recent results related to observing these subst
 ructures at multiple wavelengths\, studying the origin of spiral arms in a
  particular protoplanetary disk\, and ongoing&nbsp\;searches for the plane
 ts that may cause the observed substructure. These results gives us new in
 sights into planet-forming disk in the era of ALMA.\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n&nb
